Best F32T8 bulbs for work/display??

I would appreciate receiving suggestions for best 4' F32T8 bulbs for a combo working and display garage. I am using Litonia fixtures. I know high color temp and CRI is the way to go, but do you have a suggestion of exact brand, model and best location to purchase? Thanks to all, Jim H

T8 Bulbs by Ushio-Color Temp 5000K CRI 86
They are a great combo of colour, and brightness. Very reasonable from Bulbs.com

Phillips Alto T86 bulbs, 6500k color temp, 86 CRI. Got them at Home Depot. Nice bright white light.

I have Silvania 3500K T8 bulbs in my garage - very nice bright color. I had run out of 3500k bulbs and had one fixture with Silvania 3000k bulbs and they really thru off a yellowish hue - since changed them out.

I have generic Lithonia surface mount 4 foot strip fixtures with exposed bulbs. My ceiling is 12 foot, and the ceiling and walls to 6 foot elevation are painted Behr Ultrawhite flat enamal - really helps brighten up and reflect light.

I use a 6500k/98cri bulb in my basement office...you'll get more measurable lumens out of the more readily available 5000k lamps.

Depends on ceiling height, color accuracy, etc...depends what your priority is....photopic vs scotopic illumination. As an older guy (age 55), I chose the latter to minimize glare and tired eyes after 8-12 hours in the office. Scotopically rich (higher K) lighting is perceived as brighter to my old eyes even though the 5000k lighting which measures higher lumens on the meter.

One other thing....the lower Kelvin temperature lamps have a longer life and are less expensive to purchase.

I'm using G-E F32T8/SP41/ECO lamps in my Lithonia fixture. 3 fixtures (3-car garage), no complaints.

I have all flouresents for the five fixtures in the tray part of the ceiling, compact flourestents for the three cans on each side of the tray ceiling and three more compacts over the sink. Have not ordered anything for the four tracks that will be under each soffit. All the flouresents will be 5100K.
