I agree with previous poster: The Milwaukee model 20 (2 ton) is the best jack, although it is expensive. Likewise if you need something bigger (like I do, with an F350 dually), the model 40 (4 ton) is the best.
However, given the prices, and my economics, I am using older iron, which I consider superior to most of the equipment on the market today. For lighter duty I have two Hein Werner's, a WS 1 1/2 ton an an OS 1 1/4 ton. Both are reasonable portable and the handle is removable. They are 1970's vintage and are completely tight hydraulically.
For my truck, I have a Walker 93657, which is now branded as Hein Werner, although completely unrelated to any historic Hein Werner. It is from the mid-1980's. Prior to that I had a Walker 884, which was same hydraulics in the older art deco style frame. I believe mine was from the early 1960's or maybe the 50's.
The Walker is a heavy beast and since it is long frame and non-removable handle a little difficult to maneuver. However, it has all the grunt necessary to handle the Ford and the big lump of iron of an engine.
