I purchased an anvil from an older gentleman for $20. That in itself was a great deal, but then he shows me a box and asks if I'm interested in it. Had a 4" Ryobi corded grinder with a diamond blade, couple of flap sanding wheels and a couple of grinding wheels. Also had a small bench vice. When I asked him how much he said free. Told me the grinder worked intermittently. $6 later for a new switch it works great. Offered to buy it, but he said he just wanted it to go to someone who would use it. Said his grown son was not handy and was not interested in any of his tools. Truly a unicorn moment.

Three things I got free on here:

1) Vintage Blackhawk flathead Ford V8 valve bar and a set of Johnson adjustment wrenches
2) Sod plug tool.

I've used all three and appreciate the generosity of our members.

Not craigslist but Facebook garage sale site, some lady was giving away a snowblower, didn't run and she already bought a new one. I was luckily the first one to get there and pick it up it was a 4 year old troy bilt from lowes with hardly any use Pulled the carb and sprayed carb cleaner in it and put it back together and it fired right up. Has worked every time I need it in the last 2 years.
