Long time lurker, but I needed to share my excitement with like minds. I paid $380 for the whole lot. 10-30mm Proto socket set, full SAE set with ratchet, most of the wrenches are also Proto.

Haha...the thing is he still has 30x more than this left over. Job boxes full of grinders, drills, sockets wrenches. Apparently the company that was building a plant in the area just boxed up all the tools used in the construction of it, and sold the whole works off. There has to be 40 job boxes full of tools stacked up. When I left there were still 20+ bandsaws, 50 grinders, drills etc.

Calgary Alberta. He is probably going to start posting stuff on Kijiji soon. Not a huge garage sale market for 2"+ sockets and wrenches.

Too far for me! I would have all kinds of interest in the bigger stuff. I start to get uninterested after about 3 1/2".

Might have something to do with our current economy...its brutal. Lots of businesses going under, and tons of layoffs. Wouldn't surprise me if there were no other jobs to go to after the plant build.
