I'm looking for a set of 3/8 sockets from gearwrench with a decent spread shallow, deep, metric, standard, maybe semi deep if I can afford it. So I've been looking around and found this
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00L3...200_QL40&qid=1411540217&sr=8-2#ref=mp_s_a_1_2

Looks to be spot on even with a set of swivels it looks like

Now here is my problem. 1. The description says that it offers a full range of 1/4 drive but the title says 3/8
2. I typed the number into the gearwrench website and it doesn't come up as a product. So I don't know exactly what it comes with

So does anyone actually know the deal with this set and what it come with? I've been looking for like 2 weeks off and on trying to figure it out. I've tried everything short of calling gearwrench.
Any info is appreciated

I think I'm going to stick with gearwrench SASO

That really is a good deal. The 1/4 could come in handy. Swivels aren't really needed, I have them at worm and never seem to use them. I usually just use my wobble extensions and it gives me enough to get by

SK 49 pc. set $167, I truly think going american this time is a much better deal for you.

If I didn't already have experience with gearwrench I'd agree, but I own a good amount of gearwrench products and I've never had a problem nor have anyone I've known .
For no being made in the us they have a great product line at a pretty fair price. They aren't your typical importer in my opinion

It's a typo in the description.

Gearwrench has two master socket sets one in 1/4 drive and one in 3/8 drive.

These are new sets that recently came out so, they're not widely listed yet.

From looking at the picture it seems that each set comes with SAE shallow and deep sockets, Metric: shallow, semi deep, deep, and swivel.

Gearwrench's website ***** for trying to find new products. toolweb has a better chance of listing new tools. :wtf:

That is like the Craftsman sets, quite a bit of "fluff" that I will never use or want like the crappy ratchets, allen keys and bits.

Yeah I agree. And plus I only really want sockets. I'm not a fan of the GW "economy" ratchet (I'll call it that lol) I like the better ones like the 120s they are pretty sweet. But I'm a fanboy and I'll admit it I'm going to get dual 88s for this set. I just can't get away from them lol. And I'm also getting the master bit set so the allen keys and stuff aren't really needed.
