So I need to find something for a "road toolbox" that will fit better under the back bench seat of my 95 Ford F150 extended cab. I currently have a cheap, long plastic box which is about 5 inches high that barely fits under it + I also tried one of those canvas tool bags with the zipper. Im also open to slightly raising the height of the rear seat with spacers if it can be done safely, but the kits I've seen for this are rather spendy.

Regards, Chet

I have an extended cab 95 f350 7.3 dually - Sears sells empty plastic cases and tool boxes. I have a small one of those under the back seat in mine with a bunch of ratchet straps.... You can look at getting one or two of those depending on what you want to carry.. Or buy a socket set in its own case, and keep some hand tools in one like I bought. They would both fit under the back seat. The obvious choice is to get a bed mounted tool box though.. I have a ton of **** in mine. needs some work, but one of these days I'll start using that truck again.

Edit - I think this is the one I have. $11

Or the smaller one - $9

They don't hold a lot, but it's an option..
