I out grew my small snap on box and now I want room. The problem is the tech 1000 box is 4 g's. Too much money for a weekend warrior like myself.

Snag yourself a Montezuma from StrictlyToolBoxes.com. You won't believe the price for the size you can get. The boxes are top notch as well. Many say theyre about equal to truck brands.

Montezuma still builds all their boxes in the US, I think it's Nebraska but don't hold me to it. I'd like to have one of their wedge shaped top boxes, but I'd like a lot of things and that doesn't mean I'll have one.

The montezuma are pretty damn good for their price. I have seen some first hand and i really like them. I'm in tech school now so my box is a hand me down from my dad, and i also have a harbor freight cart. But once i save up the money, i will be buying a montezuma. Im not sure if they are dealt across the states, but if you have an orchelens or however its spelled, they sell them through the stores, well at least around my parts.

b. Montezuma, extreme (from what I've heard)=high quality, mid price, foreign made. international is under these with good quality(but not as good), and mid price, foreign made.
I copied and pasted that from nissan_crawlers review on his montezuma box. I know him personally and if he says its good, its good. I think the truck boxes are still made in the US, not sure. But there tool chest and cabinets are china made i believe. But you wouldn't believe it until you looked at the label.

Montezuma builds their crossover and portable boxes in Montezuma KS, the other boxes are imported.Then their catalog has been lying to me. Darn it.
