Best metal "cut in" type box?

I'd like to add an outlet in one of my walls using a metal box. What is the metal equivalent to a plastic old work or cut in box? Or what is the best way to accomplish this? Thanks

They should be available at your local home center or big box store; this on is at my local Lowe's, but there are many alternatives.

These are the only cut-ins I use anymore. They seem much sturdier than the plastic ones, and nearly impossible to pull out of the wall.

The fiberglass boxes by allied are much better than the blue plastic ones if youre looking for something tougher.
