What do you guys like best ? WD40, pb blaster, liquid wrench, Super tech, etc. Just wondering if there is any difference.

I've used WD40, GT85 & Double T, they all are okay but prefer the Double T because it doesn't dry out as fast has the others do & the GT85 smells like furniture polish.

Kroil is the only one a person needs to know about.
And If I run out of Kroil...Freeze-OFF by CRC.
I still buy cans of the cheap stuff for other uses..
WD40 = Tool & Toolbox Polish
PB Blaster = Decent Lubricant for tapping easy holes, chasing threads, light duty oiling, let the kids play with the PB Cans.

I was using liquid wrench but switched over to the WD40 specialist rust release and had petty good luck with it. Freed up a few rusted jack parts for me.

Wow some of this stuff I had no idea existed. I am trying to learn how to do some work on my vehicles and from what I have read I will probably need a good spray to free some of the rusty bolts. today was the first time I habe logged on since 2012. Thanks for the reply keep em coming

Well, here is what I currently have and use:
Kroil- Works extremely good
Cyclo Faster- Same as above
Castle Thrust- Also extremely good(and relatively easy to find)
Cyclo Breakaway- Works good and is thicker so it doesn't evaporate quickly
PB Blaster- Works good(very easy to find)
WD-40- Great for a myriad of uses except working as a lubricant or spraying on rusted/frozen parts.

We use Free by Certified labs at work, it seems to do a pretty good job.

I used WD-40 and pb blaster over the years and switched to Kroil (regular drip can and aero-kroil) for a year now. Honestly, I don't know which is better. I guess I don't work on cars as much as before to determine the advantage of Kroil.
I worked on my Porsche's suspension/rear axle over the weekend and I used aero-kroil to help lube/loose a bunch of nuts/bolts.
Kroil has a pleasant aroma though.

I learned the recipe from GJ. I've got it in an oiler can and swear by it.

You need more than a respirator when using Kroil. It contains up to 5% Ether.
Here is the formula grandpa use to mix up to clean black powder from rifle bores and use as a penetrating solvent on rusted farm equipment. He would mix this up and pour it into an old 3-in-1 oil metal can.

Kroil all the way! I used to swear by PB Blaster, especially because it's made here in Cleveland...that was, until I discovered Kroil.

Kroil....the 50\50 mixs seems like the acetone evaporates in minutes and your left with trans fluid. Not worth it in my eyes.
Ive found that whatever you use get a non aerosol you will have way less waiste

Pretty sure acetone is absorbed directly from your skin into your bloodstream. I would not recommend it for removing stuck fasteners, as there are safer alternatives. I really want to be able to loosen stuck fasteners but I also want to avoid Chemotherapy so.....
What makes these chemicals work to loosen stuck stuff is their super low surface tensions. My guess (not a doctor) is that none of them are good for you. Might do better with heat and WD-40 (fire hazard) or heat and mineral oil or beeswax. Plain ole Dextron 4 is a pretty good light oil.
Also, I avoid spraying stuff. I spray WD-40 from a plant sprayer, which I think puts more product on the job way cheaper than the aerosol.

WD40 didn't penetrate at all ( the paper was spotless ) PB blaster managed to creep a little it actually left a ring on the paper Kroil completely destroyed the cup and the paper was saturated with the stuff

Ha that poped up as i eas typing ^^^^There was a test done comparing all the big brands along with the atf/acetone. I believe out of the store brands kroil won and liquid wrench penetrating oil was secound.
