Is Amazon the best site to buy Wright tools or do you know of a better place?

No, Amazon is NOT the best place to buy Wright tools!

I usually buy my Wright tools from HJ Epstein as noted by lorddiesel above. They are great guys to deal with and are partners in a lot of GJ special sale day events. Good company that carries a lot of made in USA tools.

Another possible source that seems to post pretty good prices is:
http://www.tooldiscounter.com/ but, I've never bought anything from them so can't offer a personal recommendation.

I've bought stuff from Epstein's and Royal with no problems. I have also bought stuff from Toolbarn.com and had good luck. A bonus from toolbarn is $10 off if you sign up for emails and free shipping over $199 which your wrenches would get.

If you call HJE for this set, post the price as i'm thinking about this set as well.

LordD, for both you and the OP. Not so much where to buy, but other less common Wright sets, you may have seen, but many have not. I posted this earlier in another Wright thread, pretty cool sets with the display boards.

D978 - http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A1BRYCA/?tag=atomicindus08-20

D979 - (goes to 32 mm) http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Wright-Tool-...19d8341568&clk_rvr_id=786298470882&rmvSB=true

D980 - (19 pcs) http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A1BRCNG/?tag=atomicindus08-20

I just put links to show what they look like, not necessarily the best deal or place to buy. They are not easily found, you need to shop around, maybe HJE can order them.

Something to consider.

Those are pretty nice sets, but i don't believe they're the WrightGrips versions.

Call them. Chances are they can get you anything in the wright line.

Yep, I exchanged some e-mails with Jori a month or so ago. Was looking for a 952, as well as a 12-24 and 12-27 to finish it off. Jori indicated they could get it if they don't list it.

So next question is who worked out the SK day thing with Jori? Any chance we could do a Wright day?

hmmm, If you look at the Wright PDF catalog, it has the WrightGrip logo above the description for the 958 set. The regular online catalog does not mention the WrightGrip on any of the combination wrench sets.

However, it looks like the majority of the sets in the PDF catalog do have the WrightGrip. Maybe it would be helpful to call them. (Wright)

The Wright PDF catalog link is:
