Call me crazy but im not really interested in using outdoor/indoor carpet, shelving liner, yoga mats etc.

For me its price is less critical because im only interested in covering my top box which will only require maybe 3 sheets of 25x48". Thats all im interested i DO NOT WANT a whole roll of it.

That being said who makes the best non-slip liners? Snap on ($7 per 25x48"), Mac ($6.59 per). Who is the best, would even explore exotics like hazet, but not really sure where to even buy liners from them.

But if a roll was 75" long then a roll would work for you.

Try one of each and then get back to us?

I use made-in-USA Duck kitchen drawer liners.

Same here changed out half my draws like a couple months ago. The snap on stuff is not non-slip. I have to get another roll and finish the rest of my box when the nice weather gets here.

The KRL kits have to much liner for my needs, are the snap on liners good, or will all my tools go flying back when i close it(individual 7 dollar ones) ? I mean i want the tools to stay in place.

the roll of non-slip mesh lining i bought from sears is nice stuff. you can rattle things around quite a bit without stuff moving around. the only down side for you is it's in a roll.

I like the ones Gray sells. To my knowledge they only sell them precut for their boxes. I use them in a top box which I take to the race track every week (and it's regularly unloaded in and out of my truck). Hardly anything slides around. Hard to describe the matrerial, I'd say it's about an 1/8" thick rubbery foam that is black in color. I suspect other companies sell this type of liners as well. I have used and am not as big of a fan of the ones I bought at Cdn Tire, which are slipperier and have more of a plastic feel and surprisingly cost more $. For the "Macgiver's" out there I have had success using rubber to line drawers. I think the rubber was leftovers from a commercial roofing job. It's not worth buying (probably as expensive as real liners, if you even can find it) but if you have access to some it works very well. The only downfall is if it becomes saturated with oil (like an air tool drawer) it will distort slightly.

The 25x48 pieces snap-on sells are described as 1/16" thick polyethylene

The krl sets are described as 65 gauge expanded PVC with polyester/cotton sheeting.

It sounds to me like the individual sheets are the same type of material that comes standard on the tops of their boxes. Durable, but definitely not non-slip.

Maybe you could buy the cheapest krl kit, around $50 for a side box, and sell whatever is left to a member on here. I think it's worth it, the liners are that good.

Hmm, i wonder what the inner dimensions of the drawers are though. the Inner dimensions of mine are 17x23". To big is obviously fine because i can cut it but to small is a problem.

The 'new' KRL liners are the only liners I've seen that stay put in the drawers without putting spray adhesive on the backs of them AND that the tools stay put where you place them. One of my favorite things about my KRL box.

This. Except I use the little more expensive black mesh liner they sell. Works excellent and has held up GREAT for me. I think I've got 10 years on the current mesh in my boxes and it's not giving up yet.

Best part, it's only about $3 a roll. Looks like this:
