Really depends on what you are doing. If you don't need breathable, the PVC coated stuff from Grundens and Carrhart are good. In the Pacific North Wet, if you are a carpenter it is the best way to stay dry. The real trick is dumping out your bags at the end of the day and getting them dry for tomorrow... Its why I dumped my nice Occidental rig and have a nylon setup.

id look for the stuff from bass pro or cabelas. it isn't cheap. but its the best stuff out there. probably looking at $300 for a set but as long as you keep it in some sort of bag and not rolling around loose in the box itll be in good shape.

I'm not going to be laboring in the rain. Mostly quick checks or towing a plane in. Light weight that packs into a drawer preferably.

GI issue poncho. I keep one in the car and have a couple more. If cold is an issue, get the poncho liner, too.
