I’m so tired on having to reset the collar every week. Is there a hose collar - bought or shop made, that won’t move when shop hands let the hose slam into the reel?

How about letting the shop hands fix what they screw up ? They'll get tired of fixing it and stop letting it slam home.

I’ve been looking for one for my cord reel. Think I’m going to find a hockey puck and cut and drill it to work.

We've got the Reelcraft bumper balls on the hoses at work. Stout enough that even if you let go of the hose on rewind at full extension, they won't move....but the reel guide will bend when it hits.
