Best Scissors for....Cutting

Disposable items for me. Last set I bought were Husky's from Home Depot, one pair went to the garage the other in the kitchen drawer. I'll cut, pry, hammer and poke them and toss them.

$1 scissors from Ikea / HF, used it for paper, and what not stuff, used a dedicated pair for kitchen stuff, no issue here. Yes it will cut fabrics, but not great... have those chicken poultry alike utility scissors, cuts heavy stuff... if you want one of those... heck even have a HF one now that one is great (the very very large cast aluminum one, the discontinued) ... you can lob some one on the head with it big

I've bought large and small medical/surgical scissors on Ebay for cheap. You just have do some research to find good deals. There's a lot of garbage to wade through to find the good deals. I've paid $8-18 for surgical scissors that normally cost around $60-80. They were all brand new in unopened packages.

I replaced the wifes kitchen scissors with wiss "household" scissors I got at home depot. They get used daily and have outlived 3 other regular store brands and were 6 bucks.

Trauma shears for many hard to cut items (nylon belts, blister packages etc.).

Engineer PH-55 Tetsuwan Scissors for general shop use, the handles are small but they can cut paper, tape, cardboard, leather, cable/wire etc. They get used more than any others I have.
