So many good drivers out there. And different circumstances. Some are better than others when:
i)Covered in oil or grease. Clean up well and the handle doesn't slowly dissolve.
ii)Working on clean electrical parts that require plenty of light duty spinning but not much torque.
iii)Removing stuck rusted screws that require the best tips and all the torque possible.
I have yet to find a driver that I consider best in all 3 categories. It doesn't exist because light and fast spinning driver can never deliver as much torque as one with beefy handle. etc...

Then it's re-branding, same drivers sold under many names it gets confusing.... And today you can find very decent cheap Chinese drivers and even better drivers from Taiwan. Some of the stuff they make very close to the best brands - if not equal. It's a jungle out there and I have hard enough time deciding between the 10 brands I have, let alone all the others I have never tried.

I like the new Tekton drivers. Only have a #2 phillips - it's real comfortable in the hand and delivers surprising torque.

But the old Proto yellow handles are my favorites.

I noticed a lot of Felo votes and I'd have to say I quite strongly disagree. I would say what truly makes a good screwdriver is tip durability, and for Felos it's just not there. The only two nice things about Felos are lifetime warranty and the grip.

Interesting, I have a set of Felo's that I've used pretty hard at my shop for about 6 years. Nothing broken or worn. They work great.

I know they make several different models. I'm wondering if one of them is some kind of budget model.

I grab my Picquic Sixpac+1 before anything as a rule. I have a bunch of them. They are the ONLY tool I own and use that contains asian-made parts (bits are made in Taiwan, and they are very good quality).

Other drivers may be 1% better in some respect, but nothing beats picquic for convenience.

Curious how Snap On didn't make your poll? They are excellent screwdrivers
