Epstein, but they don't have everything. Good people to deal w/ though.

Nobody local anymore?

I always had good luck locally, but all that is nearly gone now.

Sears, at full retail for what they have...

I wish online retailers would update their websites...

SJ Discount is located in my hometown, some people like them and some GJ members do not like them.

I can give you the name of a wonderful tool store but they do not have the best web-site to work with. The name of the store that deals in SK tools is called Spartan Tool Supply in columbus,Ohio. 1-800-848-1368. The man you want to ask for is Mr. Jim Weekley, he is a very nice man who will help you out.

As far as prices go they are not cheap but not all that expensive and if you have any problems Jim will make good on everything (at least that is for the walk in trade),not sure about over the phone deals.

How good are they on price? Like if it is a $150 item at SJ, $X at Spartan?

Im looking to buy my first tools, and I think SK is the perfect socket set for me.

I bought a nice 3/8 drive S-K set off SJ Discount Tools... great price, everything went smooth. I ordered from them a couple more times with no issue.

Mytoolstore.com is a site for a Las Vegas SK dealer with a real store that really stocks SK. I've never ordered from their site but I've been to the shop and they're great guys. No promises, and they don't have the best prices. Big help, eh? ;)

I would hold off on new SK until great deals or more dust settles. Stuff made right at the end during the labor action could be defective.

I would have to say Epstein, as they are about 25 miles from me and will order what you want if they don't have it.
