Best slip solution

I am about to coat my floor. I am confused about non slip and color chips and clear coating. What I want is a "non slip" single color (gray) if possible with color cips and most important non slip product. I will be using the rustoleum pro product. Can I apply the color and non slip inbetween coats?
If I have to pick it will be the non slip. I will not be clearcoating as this shop will be used for car restoration work. As much traction as possible with the ability to sweep up is all I require. Whats is the best long lasting non slip to use in a ice and snow climate.

There is no best answer. For maximum grip and durability you'd use aluminum oxide, stainless steel grit, or something along those lines. But, they offer tons of texture because they have very pronounced, sharp corners and edges; those same features means it's tough to clean the floors with mops, rags, towels etc. Plus you can get serious road rash if your skin comes in contact with the floor.

Polymer grit is easier to clean, but i's no going to offer the same level of slip and fall protection, and it's not as durable. We recommend adding it to the clear coat.

Speaking of clear coating - if you're doing a lot of restoration work that's exactly when I'd opt for a clear coat. If it's a showcase floor only then one might forgo the clear, but if you're punishing the coating, put down a strong clear coat to get the best lasting performance and looks.
