I know I've heard that BS on other stuff, but this heater does a good job and heats up very fast!
All of those small heaters are 1500 watts, as that's close to max for a 15 amp circuit, which is standard with 14 gauge wiring found in many homes today.
1500 watts is 1500 watts. I don't care if it has a magic crystal pyramid built into it.

Wrong Phil ! As I said, the one I purchased has a selector switch to make it 900, or 1500 watts, which was one of the determining factors for me to buy it. I don't have a wiring diagram for it, but I could stick my clamp on amp meter on it for you. If I set it to 900, and it draws current for 1500, I will let you know, after I return it.

I've got one of the all metal "milkhouse" heaters that I use in our camper. Works great, has a thermostat and is very durable for about $20. YMMV.
