Amazon or bowerstool on ebay.

I've talked with Nelson Bowers several times on pricing - apparently there just isn't a huge margin on that line and he can't match some of the Amazon "special deals" that come up.

Trade-off: he's in Texas, and the stuff hits my PO box in two days, and he's one hell of a nice guy to deal with.

I usually get my Vessel (or Anex, Sunflag etc) items from Amazon. The trick with shopping on Amazon, is to not be in a hurry, since with their "Dynamic Pricing" the price varies. I NEVER put anything in my cart, but just look every few days, and when the price drops down to the "Lowest Price in 30 Days", I add to my cart and buy right then. Many times the item ships from Amazon Japan for free, but maybe that is because I'm a Prime Member

I bought some of the Vessel Wood-Compo Non-Slip handle Screwdriver Made in Japan by VESSEL (6PCS SET 3006CS) for my SIL, from Amazon, quick delivery, no hassle, no waiting.

Also added in the VESSEL Precision Screwdriver Set TD-55 / -0.9, -1.2, -1.8, -2.3, -3.0, -3.5 while I was ordering.

Happy Birthday.

Now that's one less tool I need to take when I go to help them out.

Spend the extra few bucks and go with Bowers.
He's $12 more than Amazon for a screwdriver set I'm interested in. That's more than a few extra bucks, IMO. Plus he doesn't have free returns.

and yeah... I go with Bowers whenever possible for the same reasons as MWeric.
I don't have an Amazon account... I don't buy enough "stuff" to make it worthwhile. Same with Costco.
Bowers pays for shipping. So for ME, he's got the lower price.

Here's his dog showing you the numbers... now... who are you going to believe?

^ I've only made maybe two or three "guest" purchases through Amazon and paid shipping on all of them. I don't have an Amazon account, so I'm not familiar with their shipping policies. Not to mention I most likely would not be buying enough to offset the membership fee - the numbers don't pencil out to my advantage.
