Where do you like to put your bits?
Here are a few of mine...
.22LR ammo box
I got this idea from a friend. 100 round .22LR ammo boxes are a perfect fit for 1" insert bits (except oversize bits). You can pick these up for around $2 from your local gun shop. Prices on the interwebz are double or triple so that they can give you "free" shipping. Nice and compact way to store lots of bits.
PB Swiss racks
These accommodate both 1" insert bits and 2" and longer power bits. PB Swiss also sells containers that house the racks but I haven't tried them. I paid a little over $2 on sale but prices vary greatly on the interwebz.
Ullman Devices BH-2
Just a simple vinyl holder but it works great. HJE sells these for a under $2. Some of the online prices are much higher and shipped "free".
Felo Swift
Comes with 6 bits and a magnetic bit holder. I got it for $5 but they usually cost more than double. Typically I buy bits a la carte since it is cheaper but I wanted the bit holder because I thought it might be convenient for pocket carry. Great bits but unfortunately the plastic container doesn't hold the bits securely. Wera and a lot of other companies also make similar kits.
Tool brand kits
I'm pretty sure everyone has a few of these.
Zephyr / Bondhus kit
This is from the deal (now expired) that I posted recently.
Zephyr ZBB-4 Professional 31 Piece Bit Kit
I don't have this one but the red metal box looks nice.
