I have been using my stubby 8 oz ball pien from harbor freight for a few years now and is great for small things like cotter pins dust caps

Just looking for other options as I do not see many stubby 8 oz if any outside of harbor frieght

I have the newer trusty cook that is nice but for light task these are the best

Seems like a no name brand type tool. I'd stick with the HF or you can buy a better brand name and chop it down.

Ditto, unless you're not satisfied with the HF for some reason. Since you're not likely to be swinging a stubby very hard, I would think the HF would serve well enough.

HF baby-hammer has worked for me daily, going on 3 years now.

Everyone laughed when I bought it, but it is absolutely key when you need it.

I have the Menards version. It was probably made in the same factory. If I remember right, I paid $3.49. It will probably outlast me. Your HF version will probably last the rest of your life and then some... A stubby hammer is not exactly going to see a hard life, in most situations.
