Tired of breaking these things guys!

Is this one the best out there???

I have the "standard" version, and have broken it twice now, and have broken a Snappy hand driver too, all in trying to take the scope base off of a friends rifle.

It seems the dang 'Smith lock-tighted it with what I'm going to guess is red lock-tight.
We used a bit of heat, and light taps while I turned it out.

It worked, but at the cost of twisting my standard Snappy driver.

Perhaps Wiha would do better, but I suspect that it would have damaged any T15 given your description (red loc-tite; only way I know to break that stuff loose is with heat).

The Torx drivers I've had the best luck with are the red handled (British sourced) Protos, like this one:

Cheap (around $9) and really good quality. I absolutely hate the soft grip handles, but I love the business end on these drivers.

The Ti coated bits are worth it. If you go through another bit, see if your dealer would replace it with a Ti coated bit vs. non-coated bit.

Those Wiha sockets look high quality. The Hazet image is a bit fuzzy, but they have a great reputation though. I do have one Hazet wrench, when you buy a Belimo valve, you may get a wrench or two. Usually 10mm or 13mm.

Thanks for taking the time to post a few pics!

Here's a pic that's a little better, but my phone lens is scratched up. Smallest socket in this set is a T27. I donth think you new to be using a 1/2 drive T15 anyway. The set has a L key T15, and I think one of the screwdrivers is that small. One of the wiha t handles and bits are T15.

Photobucket seems to be having issues.

Next time you have a stubborn screw that has been loctited down try using a soldering iron directly on the screw to apply heat instead of a heat gun. It works every time. I'm glad you got the screws out.

Hand drivers I used felo, they are very nice as well as PB Swiss and wiha and hazet. For sockets, I like the wiha.

What the heck good does an anti-friction coating do on a driver?

Been using that methods for over 15 years now. One of the best way and simplest way for loctite screws removal
