Best Tool For Toothing Out Brick

I have a remodel project that is going to involve toothing out and replacing a fairly large number of bricks. I had a mason lined up, but he is ghosting me now, and I don't think I am going to get anybody else on short notice so DIY. I have a hammer drill as well as a grinder and a circular saw, oscillating cutter and sawzall, could also rent tools if needed. 63&sr=8-3 but they seem pricey, and would want to have to buy multiples to finish the job. Any suggestions appreciated.

If I'm just tuck pointing, then a 4" rough diamond saw on the little angle grinder. If I want those bricks out, then a 7 or 10" rough diamond saw on the wildcat. Then I touch up with the oscillating cutter and rotary hammer to break loose any odd bits of mortar.

Now if you want to go full GJ, there's a double bladed oscillating cutter designed just for bricks. A mere $1K.

I removed 23 pallets of brick from my house and reused them during my remodel. I used a small Milwaukee roto hammer with a chisel bit to remove and then clean the mortar off. (the roto part could be switched off) It was a lot of work, but I could not find new bricks to match the old ones. You can't tell where we replaced them as they were aged alike.

I saw a video on the Arbortech, looks like the tool, but a little over budget.

Thanks for the suggestions so far. They are coming all the way out. Have a short wall I cut a couple openings in. Need to turn the brick finished end out.

For toothing out a carbide tipped sawzall blade works well.

If I were going to remove only a few bricks, I like the carbide tipped oscillating tool blades made by Bosch, carbide toothed SawZall blades would also work, but that tool gets heavy when you are holding it over your head.
