Being a GM tech I carry a 90deg pick all day every day because all of the new electrical connectors safety tabs are so tough it’s easier to get under them with a pick vs pushing with your fingers. After years of inadvertent ****** piercings I had the Snap-On man replace the blade on a SDD224 pocket screwdriver with a pick blade! Even clocked it correct the first try. Bonus for the magnet! Forever an integral part of my EDC.

How'd you swap the tip? It doesn't list any repair pieces; is the blade removable?

https://shop.snapon.com/product/Poc..."-Pocket Screwdriver-with-Magnet/SDD224O

Blade replaces like any S-O driver/pick, place blade in vise and tap the handle off, the blade does have some "wings" so to speak so the blade doesnt turn in the handle. It's best to reassemble in the same position. To reassemble the handle get tapped on similar to removal.

Snap-on's old site had the blades and such listed, likely not listed now.

So this was a pretty darn good idea. I copied it but did it a bit different to use my favorite picks.

Ullman(also Craftsman branded Ullman) pickup magnet has pocket clip and it fits on the Ullman short picks that have the same grip.

Never would that fit into the places I require the pick. The funniest part would be using the pick to release the safety tab, setting it down and using these pliers to press the tab down LOL I don’t have the fingernails required for the safety tabs

However if I do use pliers, and they’re dual use!
