If they are anything like car windshields, an Olfa knife with a fresh blade is the quickest. The fresh blade is key. Dull, like a putty knife, is next to worthless on urethane. Are you trying to remove all of the urethane? If so, what is the reason? Normally, urethane will bond to urethane very well, so removing all of it isn't necessary. If you are trying to get down to fresh metal, a wire wheel on a drill or angle grinder after slicing most off with the Olfa is pretty quick.

Just make sure to clean the remaining urethane very well with a cleaner that leaves no residue. DO NOT prime the old urethane. The primer is for use on metal/paint, not urethane.
