Fluke makes very good tools. I personally think they are overpriced as hell but very many electricians I see are using Fluke meters.
I think they really are the top of the line, but thats not to say that something cheaper might not work for all your career if It snot in daily use. Fluke is a bit too rich for my blood to have sitting around for "just in case".
