best two part epoxy for cast iron?

We live next to a golf course and consequently get a lot of errant golf balls in our yard. One apparently knocked off the cast iron finial from one of the posts.

I don't have a welder or welding skills so I was wondering if I could wire brush the rust off and reattach with some two part epoxy? If so which two part product would be best suited for the job??

JB Weld works for me.
In case you’ve never used this kind of product, it comes in 2 tubes (contents are gray and white) which must be mixed thoroughly before application. It’s like putty so you need a putty knife and a hard surface to spread it out on. I like to use scraps of ceramic tile. Just squeeze out equal amounts of each of the tubes and mix them together kinda scraping, folding over and folding over and folding over some more until the color is uniform.
You can wear nitrile gloves and form it to shape with your fingers and fix that broken part. It hardens up a dark gray color that can be painted later on if you want.
If you need to stabilize the part while the epoxy hardens, just use a bunch of masking tape.

they have the high strength one at homedepot for about $9 or the high temp one. I have used the high strength ones to repair an under mount sink mount.
The catch is that if the surface area is small it might not have enough bonding surface to held it together properly.

Or

You can try the crazy glue and baking powder/ash trick. Still require some bonding surface for it to hold. I used this for plastic hinges works well.
