Best type of splice

I used the ultratugger to pull an amazing amount of cables through a 2 1/2" conduit to the inside of my basement. That's where I stopped though. I didn't have any ability to not destroy the cables that went into the LB so I decided it's time to just run a separate line inside and use splices/connectors to marry the two runs inside a Jbox.

So my question is... I have 10 cables coming into the back of a junction box that need to connect to 10 cables that are straight down into another conduit.
Do they make 90 degree angled connectors ? The only ones I see are the inlines and the single entry connectors that put the cables parallel to each other.

Any ideas on the best way to splice these up?

We don't know what type of cables you are referring to. IMHO, a cable is a multi conductor wire assembly that could have as many as 104 pairs (208 insulated conductors), or RG-59 coaxial, or some other type.

Please clarify.

Agree more info is necessary, but Google "Polaris connectors" and these may be what you're looking for. Be prepared to pay, but they seem to be bulletproof when properly installed and are faster and fewer pieces then other methods of splicing larger diameter wire.

What size junction box? There are rules as to the size depending straight through or change direction. Since you are asking for 90 degree connectors I will assume you are changing directions and have too small of a junction box.

I read your other thread. Please call an electrician.

Forget a Jbox. You need a trough. Minimum 4x4x12. Probably a 6x6x24.

I was going to go with a trough originally but didn't have a way to bond it. But now that I'm splicing I can bond it and be on my way.

Sorry for the lack of info I threw the post together in a hurry before grocery shopping.

To the fella that told me to call an electrician. I consult with one a few times during this project and I'm doing everything to code. Even when my electrical inspector told me I could bury a 6x6 pull box I went out and bought a 40 inch hand hole to make sure I was doing this right.

Based on the very limited info provided by OP, this is my best guess as well.

The best kind would be a compression connector. I use H crimps all the time. Cheap and better than anything else but you need the crimper.

In your case I would just buy some polaris connectors. No need for an angle, you need to have about a foot of wire in the box anyway. You can bend it anyway you need to.

The Polaris connectors have a molded rubber cover. All you need is an allen wrench to tighten them.
