Best value for steel welded cabinets

Looking for steel welded cabinets for over the work bench. I need a total of approximately 8' with cabinets of at least 30" in height. What are some recommendations without spending a fortune.

Picked up a bunch of the $99 welded square 30"x30" Premier Gladiator metal cabinets from Sears whenever it popped up the last several years. Think I must have at least 12 of them.

FYI: whatever deal Sears had for years promoting/marketing $99 Gladiator cabinets is over. Gladiator cabinets are still made but no longer sold by Sears.

Probably not cheap but I really like the NewAge Pro 3.0 line.

Gladiator Premier welded steel cabinets, 30" X 30" X 12" are sold at Home Depot. Wait for them to go on-sale.

I have five of these and am very-satisfied with the construction. I hung them using a horizontal ledger board beneath the cabinets and 1/4" tapcons w/fender washers, through the four inside corners and into a CBS block wall.

I have some tin signs I use large circular magnets to fasten them to the cabinets. I can swap them around to change the appearance.

You might shop Craig's List or Habitat Restore for used kitchen cabinets.

Metal Kitchen Cabinets were the rage in the mid fifties, if i remember correctly.

White metal 36" high by about 12'x 12" deep total. About 30 bucks at auction. Took a while and I am not going to end up using them as I picked up some much nicer lab cabinets. The center one I paid 5 bucks for. I had to clean it up and paint it, still working on the doors. If you look hard and long enough you can find nice cabinets at good prices. If you want something right now, you'll pay.

I've been very pleased with my New Age 3.0 overhead cabinets. Thicker material than others and they hold a lot of weight without flexing.

there will be plenty of sales soon on things like these. My guess is lots of blanket 10% to 20% off sales in many retail chains to get cash flowing again once things go back to normal. We got a similar cabinet to the Gladiator from Lowe's on sale. They are well made.

I don't think you should limit yourself to just the welded cabinets. I have a bunch of the bolt together Gladiator cabinets I found on sale at Lowes and once they are bolted together and mounted to the wall they are very sturdy.

I don't know about the "bolt", they are just the New Age 3.0 version. I bought them a fellow Garage Journal member by the username dittlefartaround as he is a vendor.
