IF IT FITS IT SHIPS flat rate boxes are the best. Make sure you pack it good and I go as far as putting FRAGILE stickers on the boxes sometimes. People don't care whats in these boxes and throw them around like they're nothing. I'm currently going through a problem with a seller on eBay who didn't pack my package properly and the tool busted through the side of the box and now is MIA. When I package things, I use newspaper, bubble wrap, and those large air bag type things. Lets say its a long, skinny box, I'll put one of the large air bag bumpers in first, then newspaper to fill in the voids, wrap the item in bubble wrap, put that in and fill in voids around it with newspaper or more bubble wrap, then finish it off with another large air bag on the opposite end. Then I've even gone as far as taping the entire box depending how heavy it is. There's nothing worse than losing an item during shipping. The most important thing is to make sure there is no movement inside the box. If the item can slide around inside, it can and most likely will bust through the box. Once I finish packaging my items, they feel solid like a brick.
