I am getting close to creating a thread in the gallery and want to put in pics of my build along with PDFs of my plans. I had previously used photobucket and the links are always busted. So what is everyone using for hosting pics ?

I have started creating albums on this site. Makes it easy to link into a post or just refer the members to your album like , https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/album.php?albumid=5168. That I made to show off the local tractor show but did not want to litter the forum with a bunch of pictures. Show a few in a post and refer to your album for more.

If you want to see more of my albums you can click on my user name at the left and they should come up under my public profile.

+1 for postimages.org.

Images hosted by the forum are not visible if you are not logged in so any none members or members sneakily viewing the forum at work where they cannot log in cannot see them.

Hands down the best photo hosting site is Photobucket.

Pornhub is second.

Definitely not, photobucket screwed a lot off ppl & sites when they decided to charge ppl that had a lot of images in their accounts, then held them captive if they didnt upgrade their free accounts, this resulted in a lot of broken posts & sites that used the free accounts, because the ones that didnt pay, photobucket nuked those images.

I believe that I detected just a hint of sarcasm in Strouty's post/suggestions. :lol_hitti

Oh, and I prefer Flickr/Smugmug. :)

Yup & a lot of ppl that dont detect sarcasm take posts like that literally.

I was pretty sure when I mentioned my second choice people would understand the sarcasm. I am so sorry if I have confused anyone, I will never post another sarcastic remark again.

Imgur does work on GJ. Make sure to copy the link for BBCode (forums) and paste.

Works awesome, except no picture.

IMGUR has TOS that do not allow use on GJ as we have a classified section.

Odd since it shows for me. But when I go in incognito mode I see nothing w/ 3 million zillion ads. Damn.

this was pic:
