I've tried more than a few over the past ten years or so, and some fairly pricy ones off tool trucks. But I keep going back to my little Saber "pocket light". The most excellent magnet is probably its best feature. Bright enough for its size for me. Only downside I've found is that the battery isn't removable/swappable. The best light is definitely not one that you have to plug a cord into or swap out a battery. Aint got time for that, plus IMHO the plugs are too prone to get grease and dirt in them and bork both your light's charging port and your cable ends. That's exactly what killed my previous light.
The best light has a wireless charging base that is magnetic to stick to your toolbox and the light's are magnetic to stick to it. As soon as you touch your light to it it's charging and you can grab another already charged, all in less than a second. . End of thread.
