Hi All.

I need to buy a set of circlip(look ring) pliers. The easy choise for my area would be to just pick up a set of knibex. Good quality, and a good price.

But i am tempted to try a set from beta. The reason is i really like beta tools in general.

Is anyone here familliar With beta circlip pliers? And do beta make them in house. Or by another manufactorer, and if so. Who is it?

Tanks All and have a nice day.

Søren

Not a big fan of Facom, USAG or Beta pliers.

for spanners, screwdrivers, and rachets I love Beta.

I would go with knipex because they have circlip pliers with a captured and hidden spring.

I use circlip pliers quite a bit, but mostly bigger ones since I repair heavy truck transmissions. I use Knipex, Gedore and Beta for that. All very good but Beta is my favourite. For some reason they got the tip angle on bigger pliers just right. This matters when dealing with thicker rings, quite boring when the tips get stuck in the ring because of to aggressive angle.

Can't go wrong with any of them.
