I like Beta tools allot, but I'll watch for a sale. Those are tool truck prices without the convenience.

wth? The first page shows EMPTY trays for $20-$30 each!! LOL

I want that supertank too

Most of the stuff is pricey, but this 4 piece 1/2" drive wobble extension set is only $22. Doesn't seem too bad to me. The female end looks like the Koken design, but I can't tell for sure.

The picture is for a set, but if you read the description I think its for a single extension.

That was my conclusion as well. For the time being, we're going to have to go with model/product numbers.

At first, the PB Swiss product listings were the same way, but with time photos were updated as were descriptions.

I'm crossing my fingers that the Beta Easy drivers I want to try are included with the new stock. If not, maybe in the next shipment. I'm also eager to try out the Betamax drivers.

Here are most of the Beta Tools I own, like Stuey said they are pro-quality tools. There are some things I don't like from them. Their T handle allen wrenches are stong but have a real cheap feel to them.

OK, over 60 bucks for a 3/8 breaker bar?
That seems high even for truck prices.
Why?
I mean, why buy them?

I like odd ball brands as much as the next guy, and I like premium tools at least as much, but again, why?

Just because it's rare in the US? Or are they OEM for Ferrari or somthing? So you would want a set for working on your Dino or Testostironey.:)

Where did you get your stuff from? I believe you said in another thread, but I can't remember which one.

I bought a couple of screwdrivers just to try out from the procare store folks when they sold online. I wasn't that impressed with them. I know there's the whole european supercar tie in but, there are many other choices available that probably make more sense. They are a unique brand but, the pricing on some items make snap on seem a bargain. I don't see anything other than the Supertank that would inspire me to give up a US or Taiwan branded item but, that's just me. Your results may vary. The super tank is a cool concept though. Enjoy if that's your cup of tea.

The SuperTank does look pretty bitchin'.

The picture on ToolguyD looks like the drawers don't have any pulls.

Google search shows a different drawer design.

Hmm.

Why doesn't Amazon just go ahead and stock the whole line of Beta?
B/C it's tough to import that many tools when you don't even know there's a market for it.

When Small Parts first carried PB Swiss, they had a small selection. Then, (presumably) when sales increased, they added more and more products. Then they did the same for their Wera and Wiha stock.

It's also worth noting that they likely ordered small quantities of each tool to test the waters.

Not sure. I checked beta-tools.com and beta-tools.co.uk, and they both show the same configuration.

These drawers include a one touch automatic drawer opening mechanism...

it could be that the one you're seeing via google image search is an older, different, or more economical version.

There are two different SuperTanks, p/n C28N - 2800N and p/n C28T - 2800T

There are detail differences, but the major change is that the latter has 10 push to open drawers and the former 11 conventional drawer pulls. Both are current, the C28T is ~20% more expensive.

Ooooohhhh, push to open. For some reason that sounds really cool.

Thanks for the clarifications, fellas.

Yeah.... good luck with that.

I had a significant tool budget and tried calling.... emailing etc. After too many unanswered voicemails and emails I gave up. The sad thing is I never received a return call or email. It's pretty much a phantom store front. If you really want Beta tools you will probably have to order from Amazon or over seas.

I ended up going with Stahlwille.

called today, guy answered the phone on the first ring, was very nice guy and seemed to know the beta line in and out. He told me they have a showroom in huntington beach and told me to come by anytime.
The store is about 30 minutes south of me and do not go that direction often, but next time i do, i will go and check out the showroom and post details. Maybe an other member who lives in the area can check it out.

I have my eye on beta tool trolly, one day soon.

Procare in CA are re-doing their website to include the full Beta range, and also increasing their inventory.I know Chuck from my days with Beta UK and still e-mail him occasionally-so i get all the up to date info.He is one of the good guys-give him a try and he will do a deal on pricing with a good discount from list .
If anyone needs more info-i still have my contacts both in the UK and Italy.
