Hi all.

We need a couple of new torque wrenches at work. One that goes to about 50 nm. And one that goes too about 200 nm.

Our supplyer sell hazet, facom and Beta, aswell as a brand called sealey. We won,t considder the sealey since we have bad experience with some of there other stuff.

Both facom and hazet are pretty bulletproof in quality. But the beta torque wrenches are a good bit cheaper. Does anyone have have experience/knowledge with beta torque wrenches. Are they good enough for professional everyday use?

We are talking about the manual click type and not digital type.

Thanks
Søren

I believe that the beta is a good entry level torque wrench. It is my belief But I am probably wrong that the beta torque wrench is the same as others such as teng tools and toptul. If cost is truly important I would trust to give it a shot while saving up for a hazet when/if that fails but if it proves to be successful then you have a good tools and a bit of coins saved up for your next tool.

Does the dealer offer calibration services for the wrenches ?

No they Don t. But we have a system in Denmark where the national danish institute of technology comes and test and calibrate torque wrenches aswell as all other measuring tools. So that will not be a problem.
