I have been lurking a lot and have asked a couple questions, and tried to answer a couple for other people. I figured I should go ahead and introduce myself.

Hi my name is Chad. I am a 25 year old male who is addicted to tools and working in the garage. I work for one of the biggest eyeglass companies in the world, I rebuild and repair the machines that cut the glasses.

I have just recently gotten married. (July 21,2007) and my wife and I currently live in her condo. We have the condo on the market and are looking for a house with enough yard to build a detached garage for all of my tools and toys. I will try to post a couple pics of my toolbox, they are at my parents in there garage.

I almost forgot to mention, I absolutely love this site.

Welcome Chad, I do not recall having nearly as much of a start to my tool empire as you have at your age! We all hope you enjoy it here!

Thank you. I have been kind of lucky as far as the tools go. I went to a vocational school my last two years in high school, through that program I was able to purchase anything that I wanted from the Snap-on catalog at half price. I decided to buy the top and bottom boxes along with some pretty basic tools.

I worked in a dealership for about 3 years and had the $20 tool bill every week that everyone else had with the tool truck. Once I quit that job and moved to my current job, I bought the blue cabinets from my work. They are great cabinets, and the price is unbeatable, I think I have about $300 total in the cabinets that are in the picture.

I almost forgot one of the coolest things about my current job. They give us a tool allowance of $200 every year. I have my list planned out and I'm watching the sears ads like a hawk.

Once again, the site is awesome and I look forward to spending alot of time here.
