I joined a couple of months ago have been doing some lurking ever since. Have been away from home for part of that time. But now down to business. I started looking around for a site that had to do with garages. Garage Journal seemed like the answer. I am building a garage and will be looking for advice and guidance. So any advice on starting a thread on the topic. Looking building (actually have the shell up) and doing it in stages. Especially with the winters we have on the prairies in Saskatchewan Canada
Just for the hell of it I spent some time on learning how to do the pics and stuff for a thread.
Tried starting a thread on unique trucks but it seemed to have fell flat and disappeared into oblivion. Any suggestions on my future Texaco styled garage thread. I would possibly have done an Esso but my neighbours might have had a problem with all the red. Thought green would go over a little easier.
I thought there was also a thread showing everything pertinent to a garage build. For example what materials used for framing, type of outer coverage, heat source etc. So everything to do with a garage build or for that matter what was it being used for. Had graphs and everything or did it also slip into the abyss.
But on the whole great site, interesting members and an amazing knowledge base.
Looking forward to interacting with all of you in the future.

That is looking to be a nice building you've got started. I'm sure that you are going to start a build thread. If you don't know it yet; if you open your album in another tab and then open the picture it will have a BB code under it. Copy that BB code and paste it into a post, open in another tab, and the picture will appear in the post.

Had a little trouble with the pics at first. Image Shack and myself don't work so well together for some reason. Also figured out why the beers appeared. Going to start my thread on the garage possibly later today. Thanks for the info on the BB code.
Found the site were you list your garage details, guess I better get at that too!!
Checked out your shop build, all I can say is amazing.
