I had some guys do some waterproofing with a rubber-ish white paint and it's clearly better than drylock. I don't know the brand anymore, unfortunately. But there are some paints that are better than drylock.
If you google you'll see "rubberize it" and "Liquid Rubber" and "Duck Coat" and probably more.

A buddy of mine did his basement in sanitred after tons of research. It was a huge project to do it right.
For water, starting outside, if in any way possible, is always best. Water is very hard to hold back on the inside. Much easier to stop it from entering and diverting it

Years ago I was hired by the neighbor to seal the basement. Dug by hand to the footer. Area scraped clean and tarred. Another plastic sheet and tar. Put like six sheets on with a thick coat of tar. Never leaked again. Lots of digging and filling.

That is really, really hard to do on the inside.I’m not getting leaks but I want to prevent moisture from coming through the block.
Have you done a moisture test? (plastic taped to the concrete, left alone for a while)

I once found a 5 gallon bucket of swimming pool paint in a landfill and mopped it on a masonry deck that was leaking. It stopped the leak.

I used Ames Blue-Max (they make it in a white also) on the inside & outside below grade to seal cracked poured cement.
I was skeptical at first and it's expensive but GREAT stuff IMO!!
At HD & others. I choose it over the drylock extreme due to the flexibility in keeping the seal over time. I did NOT want to dig 7ft down ever again.

Dig out foundation- install waterproof membrane with “drain-plane” board, and a perimeter drain system.
Anything on the interior side is a coin-flip!
