Looking for a bi-directional diagnostic tool. The ability to program keys would be a huge win, and scope capability highly desired, but not required. Recognize subscription service is a thing, some have free lifetime. My newest car is a 2023, the rest, much, much older, but still OBD-2.

All the vehicles are Toyota, with the exception of a 1996 OBD-2 Ford Bronco and a 2009 Honda Odyssey.
Real time data is great, recognize less expensive can do that.

$700 is my top end of the price range I'm willing to go up to.

Below are some I've found, open to other options as a serious DIY'r.

Cheers and thank you for the help in advance.
Jay

I just bought an Xtool D7S. Never used a bidirectional scan tool before but seemed to have good reviews. Some of the videos are of an older version but basically the same thing. I think it was around $400
The new ones now have a USB c charging port but it also charges from the obd2 port. I see you have BT listed .
I think they have a D7W that is not BT but built in wifi for communication. Supposedly better and faster than BT.
Comes with 3 years free updates and $99 after that.

The TopDon TopScanPro would be a good choice. The T-Dart key adapter is unique at this price level.

The ThinkDiag2 at mythinkcar.com is the one I have used for years. I prefer to buy it directly from Thinkcar in Ontario at that website. The key programming capabilities of the Chinese scan tools are being scrutinized by authorities, it's common to lose functions these days. We would have to know what vehicles you are trying to program keys for, and is it "all keys lost" or not. Adding keys may be handled by these scanners, or even covered in the owners manual. AKL situations may require a multi-thousand dollar programmer. The ThinkDiag2 and Topscanpro are both Launch family.

Honda Odyssey 2009
Toyota Tundra 2017
Toyota Camry 2023
Toyota Corolla Cross 2025 (possibly - not a priority)

It would be adding a key vice "all keys lost"

Thank You! I went to the website, found the best fit for what I'm looking to do and added to the list above.

If you dig on their website they have a list of the manufacturers and features their scan tool will do. From what I remember they have two seemingly different websites, id have to search again. Kinda weird but I think one is a a UK website.
Anyway, you can find all the features and sub features supported per individual vehicle.
