Not sure if this is already being discussed in a thread by a different name, but find myself gravitating towards buying items that are tried, true and tested. I have seen a few different threads on other sites discussing BIFL, and eventually bought a few. Just thought we could add our 2 cents on shop items also. After all i believe this is the topic we all came for anyway. I am pretty sure our Wilton vise fixation is a given here, as well as, any older Craftsman hand tools. Here are a few of what i would suggest.
1. Stanley Tape: had mine for what it seems for ever
2. B&D Workmate: item gets some love on the board but i have used this for everything painting auto etc
What else you would you guys give credence too.
