I am in the process of closing in my attached 2 car carport to use as an at home sign shop. (I am a sign builder by trade) Initially we were going to convert to a garage but I have sold my wife on a better plan, Convert to a sign shop (that would later become living space/family room) and later build a 26 x 36 detached garage with a 2nd story MIL suite. My problem is.... I want to fram the carport in so that it looks more like living space than a garage, BUT I might need to pull in a small car occasionally or bring in large substrates, my thoughts were to find the biggest set of french doors I could find and live with that, does anyone else have a suggestion that would be utilitarian but attractive? I am only putting a door on one side as to make room for benches all around the interior of the space. Thanks for the help. Joey

I don't recall seeing anything retail that doesn't look like a door, but you never know what's available sometimes. This is an interesting one, but I haven't read through their web site yet. (Not cheap either)

There are some manufacturers that make decorative doors that are more detailed than a plain steel door. It may come down to budget & what you can decide needs to be spent on hiding the door somehow.

I've been trying to find something similar. 6 foot is as wide as I have found at the usual outlets. I know they are made because I see them in auditoriums and such. Might want to check with a commercial door vendor.
