Big grinding wheels What are they?

I'm starting to clean and sort the tools I got at that big farm auction two weeks ago. There were quite a few items jammed together in lots, which I got stuck with when I bid only a couple of bucks in order to get one or two tools which were mixed in there.

I've seen big old double-tapered grinding wheels like this before somewhere, but I cannot remember where. It might have even been at a flea market, or somewhere that I could not see them in operation. In any case, I have no idea what they are for. Does anyone recognize these?

Below is a lower angle photo, to show the taper better. What are these for? Do they have any value in used condition...or should I toss them in the dumpster?

For grinding sickle sections on a mower or combine cutterbar.

Naturally, on a assembled cutterbar, each individual section would be riveted, or bolted onto the bar itself.

In your opinion, is anyone going to want these...or do they have enough value to bother selling used? Or, should I toss them out?

It seems that they are very hard to find, and do have some value amongst collectors of old farm machinery.
