Big Kennedy box - anything special?

Hi guys,

I have this big Kennedy box in my race trailer that I’d like to sell. It appears to be custom made by an old timer who could fabricate. It has heavy duty locking casters and a tow bar on one side. Just want to see if I’m sitting on anything special
before I list it for sale on Marketplace.

i have seen alot of them in industral plants like paper mills and power plants, maintance department. some are on dollys to drag around the plant

Harbor Freight has eaten Kennedy's lunch. Too bad it's not 10 years ago. I had a buddy offer me a huge Kennedy bottom unit because he was going with US General.

Looks like an old Kennedy Versa-cart or Versa-bench, but I've never seen one with the flip up top.

What is your location and how much are you looking to get for it? You might want to consider putting an ad in the classified section here.

@GrayFlattop appears to be correct about the bottom section and @NTAPHSE is correct about that top section. There were a few levels of "VersaCart's" but that top is smooth (gloss?) paint and All Kennedy's were wrinkle finish paint. I have never seen a top box encompas a lower box, inner construction appears to be shop fabbed [very nicely though], over two standard lower/side boxes on a "VersaCart" frame, as do the doors seem to be nicely shop fabbed add-ons. Some one will want that but may take a minute (or not) to find its home. Harry
