Installed some of the venting. It is installed to just were it enters the attic.

Looks good. See you can do it. plumb bob that center point on the ceiling,, drill a hole, and get up there and jig saw that dude out. Your almost done!

Here is a crappy Google image of my house and here i was planning on having the vent come out. Does it look like there would be any problems with anything?
I need to run the vent approx 8 feet on an angle up about 8 feet towards the ridge.

I got it mounted up to the ceiling, that wasnt fun 11 feet up. I also have it wired up.

You need a cheap drywall lift, they come in handy for way more than just hanging drywall.

That is a great idea and would have made things really nice.

I've got some insulation done and a little more vent done. I need a 2 foot section then turn to go up and out. I used R19 because I will still need access to that part of the attic and the garage will only be heated when in use.

I am finally finished. My son and I did the final install of the vent through the roof. It is raining today so I went into the attic and snapped some pics. I wanted to make sure I seen no leaks. All looks dry.
