Big Maxx 50k BTU Vertical Vent Run

I’m installing a 50k Big Maxx heater in the corner of my garage. Trying to find the best way to vent without being too much of an eyesore. Horizontally through the back wall is right by our patio and I’m worried if I do vertical it’ll have to be extremely tall to meet the “2ft above roof within a 10ft radius” rule.

Can I run venting along the roof pitch (inside) and pop out closer to the roof peak to minimize vertical height outside?

Similar to this, but just a garage heater instead of a water heater - wasn’t sure if there are length considerations where it might cause issues in actually getting out of the vent?

A gas vent is not a chimney so the 2' above anything within 10' doesn't apply, there are separate charts showing how high it needs to be based on roof pitch.
Some equipment will have a minimum vent height in the install manual.
Going up in the attic space and then offsetting to bring it out closer to the top or out the back of the house can be done, keeping it closer to vertical is better then having it horizontal.

Thanks @brewchief - I was taking a look at the manual here:

and see this paragraph which thought the 2' rule applied.
The vent must extend at least 3' (1m) above the highest point where it passes through a roof of a building and at least 2' (0.6m) higher than any part of a building within a horizontal distance of 10' (3.05m) unless otherwise specified by the (American) National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 or (Canada) CAN/CGA-B149 Installation Code. The vent must extend at least 5' (1.6m) above the highest connected equipment flue collar.

I just installed mine last January. Put it in the corner and vented it straight up. Personally I would not want it running horizontal in the attic due to the heat coming off the vent pipe plus that pipe is not cheap and would cost a lot more.
