Big Maxx “fan on” mode

Hi I have a mr heater big Maxx I just moved from 1 garage to another. I don’t have gas hooked up yet but I have wiring complete and thermostat hooked up. I wanted to test power to make sure it’s hooked up correctly. When I turn the thermostat to fan on it does not do anything. I “think” this worked before but can’t remember for sure. Thoughts? I am only using the red and white wires

You need to have a 24V tstat connection to "G" to bring on fan only. You can test with a jumper wire from "R" to "G" to make the fan come on.

Just jumper R to G. That’s what I did and the fan comes on
