Hey guys quick question, I’m hoping someone with a big Maxx heater can help answer. I installed an 80k btu big Maxx heater in the spring during my garage addition. I just kicked it on as it’s getting cold and also so it could burn off any coatings from manufacturing and shipping.
My question is, as long as the thermostat is calling for heat, the fan stays on and the burners will run for a few minutes, then turn off for a few minutes, fan stays on, then the burners lights again for a few minutes, repeating the cycle. So basically the burners cycle on and off and the fan stays on constantly as long as it’s calling for heat. Does this sound like normal operation?
Sorry for the dumb question but can’t find anything in the manual or online that describes normal operation and they are closed until Monday.
Thanks for the help!
