Big Maxx LP conversion kit not in the box?

Just opened my 80K Big Maxx heater in anticipation of installing it later this week. Sealed box, no LP conversion kit included. The box states it's included. Do they have it inside the heater unit somewhere? I removed the side cover to gain access to the gas valve and it's not in there. If you have one of these, where was your conversion kit?

thanks

Mine was a baggy, inside of the bag that had the instruction manual. (same 80K unit)

It also had a second BIG Maxx sticker, presumably if you had to flip the unit over, you could make it so the label wasn't upside down.

Check the recesses molded into the styrofoam packing. My memory is weak, I apologize but mine was either tucked into a notch in the foam (some part was) OR it was in the baggie with the manual. I ended up trading mine away, never installed it.

Hmmm...I don't seem to have the manual, baggie, etc. either. Hopefully, they can provide this to me asap.

The manual is available on the Mr. Heater site, so you can start you rough in.

If they don't take care of you, I'll drop my (unused) kit in the mail to you, if you like. (I'm on NG)

Thanks! I've found the manual online, so good to go there. I appreciate the generous offer on the kit. I'll keep you posted. Just emailed them to see what they say.

mine as well was all in one bag,, inside of another bag, with another bag. 1 for jets, smaller kit with spring and a few labels, and then decals, with install manual. Good luck. I'll be doing my conversion part tomorrow night, and hopefully installing later this week I hope. Gotta fix the drywall lift that failed after the last of 32 boards, on the last full board.

Humm guess I need to open mine up and make sure everything is in the box, I purchased it 3 weeks ago. I’m sure they will send you the kit and manual, but still it’s aggravating.
