Big Maxx Problem

Today my installer install Mr. heater 75000 looks good, we try to start the unit, after trying for 2.5 hr no go we try to check for licks, we find one small in the gas valve "nr 10" on the part list there is 4 small holes on the back side where you connect the gas to the back of the unit there is small lick the led light after sequence show 2 flashing light on the unit I ask him if this maybe frozen or something with this valve he ask if I have hair blower he start to worm that part and the heater start working. After 20 min we shoot down turn the power out because I was going to work when I come back I can start that heater please help????????????

Probably just had to get the air out of the system. Try it later when you get home and see if it works.

Yah blead the gas line, that will help, put a hair dryer to it. Yup just gas.

The installer dosent know how to install the unit, and he's hair dring it.

No wonder why people blow up houses all over the place.

Why dont you call a reputable company/ gas company before you blow up you're home, jackass.

This is why we pay so much in insurence, morrons like this

Maybe English isn't the first language of the OP. Maybe English isn't your first language either, or you don't care to take the time to spell words properly or use the Shift key... I hope you're attempting sarcasm with your pitiful spelling. If not - never too late to learn...

If there was air in the gas line and the hair dryer trick worked to get it started, then any air in the line would have been purged when the heater lit up. If it won't start again, and it uses a standing pilot, then there's something wrong with the thermocouple.

If it's a new heater, I'm surprised it uses a standing pilot. I thought most all new units used electric spark ignition.

Just my two cents.
