Big Ole' Snap-on round handle wrench OEX58 Marking?

On this 27" long OEX58, on the box end, is a raised, (not stamped) mark, (or imperfection)
Similar to 1941.
On these old big fellas, did they usually stamp a date?
I can't find anything other than that marking.
Interesting to me how crude the wrench is compared to today's bright & shinys.

Nice! I have one of that series too, but in 2". It was previously modified into a giant flare nut wrench basically. Very large and very heavy. I did not see one on mine that I recall. Maybe post this in the Snap on thread, if anyone could tell you the age, they could.
